What is a "鬥片"?

It has various different names and is a type of plastic round token used for children's entertainment in Taiwan's past. Typically, these tokens are adorned with a variety of colorful designs, and the aesthetic appeal and rarity of these designs are among the criteria by which children assess the value of these tokens. The gameplay options are quite diverse, and due to their competitive and collectible nature, they are particularly beloved by boys. Before the prevalence of electronic games, they were considered 'treasures' alongside marbles, bamboo guns, and were often carried around by children. They also served as a symbol of status among peers.

Game Introduction

《鬥片王》is a two-player turn-based game. In the game, players use an unstable power bar to launch their characters, inflicting damage on their opponents. When the opponent's token reaches zero life points, it is replaced with the next token. When one player has no remaining tokens, the other player wins.

Players in the game can displace obstacles around the opponent by catapulting their tokens. When a player's token reaches the boundary of the field, it reappears from the mirrored position.
